Please read the following FAQ before submitting a request!
How do Commissions work?
Please fill out the questionnaire form below fully, indicating the medium, size, your budget range, and a description of what you would like. This is a vital step, and I highly recommend you send reference/inspiration images by replying to the email I send you from business@emoryalvarado.com.How much does a Commission cost?
I work with nearly everyone’s budget, so this will vary. Essentially, the higher your budget, the more amount of detail and time spent to perfect the piece I will invest. For every commission, however, I do require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the commission. The minimum price for a commission is $75.
Once you fill out the questionnaire, I will send you a quote within 24 hours via email, keeping your budget in mind. The deposit is due after we agree on a price. How do you accept payment?
For commissions specifically, I only accept payments via Zelle, Cashapp, or Venmo. I strongly encourage the use of Zelle, if it is available to you.
Zelle: emoryarts94@gmail.com
Venmo: @emoryarts
Cashapp: $emoryartsHow long will it take you to finish my Commission?
This is different for each commission, and depends upon the medium requested, the amount of detail requested, and the subject matter. Digital commissions take anywhere from 1-6 weeks, while gouache and acrylic commissions take anywhere from 2-8 weeks.
While I work on your piece, I will provide updates of progress, inviting critique and revision (within reason). What if I want a piece in a style that you haven’t really done before?
If I feel as though I won’t be comfortable completing a commission in a specific style, I will let you know. I am generally quite flexible with style, however!Do you offer sculpture commissions?
In very limited capacities, I do! I focus on miniatures/dioramas. For more information, please email me directly at business@emoryalvarado.com to see if I have the capacity to accept this type of commission at the moment.
Hello friend! Welcome to my Commission shop.
Here, you can order a custom piece from me in the medium of your choosing.
There are a few things you should know before requesting a commission from me, as my process is a little different than a lot of artists who accept commissions through DMs. I have discontinued accepting commissions through DMs to allow for more transparency and accountability.
