Located in the clouds right above the Cayman Islands, in a cluster of floating earth called the Upper Caelum Aerial Islands, is a tiny metropolis called Holiday Village.

For the past year, I have been working with their Leadership Coalition to establish a partnership called the Holiday Village Shoppe, a collaborative storefront where I will be featuring items from a select few Holiday Representatives who are also entrepreneurs.

Welcome to the Shoppe!

Happy Hallowe’en!

Amidst the hustle and bustle of the Down Towne district

live a pair of twins named Avia and Dath Noctua, owners of their own shopfronts on the island and both official Halloween Representatives. Their shopfronts and apartments located right above are painted to match their personalities — Dath’s is painted like a pastel rainbow above clouds with sun faded terra cotta shingles, while Avia’s… is considerably darker and more morose.

Dath and Avia have insisted that their product lines be the first featured here at the Shoppe, and I happily agreed!

Holiday Village, founded by Wixen immigrants in 1694, is a robust and diverse amalgamation of cultural representatives who live, work, and thrive amidst the clouds of the Caribbean, peering down and frequently traveling down to the Mooredlands (a term used to define non-floating land) to aid all humans, magical or not, with their holidays.

Their island features dramatic vistas of the surrounding floating islands, a collectivist humane political structure, public transportation via the Moonlight Express, self-sustaining agriculture, and several factories and workshops that create elaborate and impressive displays for the holidays upon the Mooredlands.

The village oversees western holidays that are celebrated in the Americas, and it is a intentional and benevolent collective that seeks only to loosely influence holiday events for the better. Many smaller western holidays have established offices in the Down Towne district as well.

Emory Arts Inc. is proud to be one of the only vendors to feature the artisan crafts and artwork created by these villagers in the all-new
